EFFECTIVE ASB CASE REVIEW WEBINAR
The future of ASB looks set to include more scrutiny and regulation. Work continues to be done to raise awareness of the community trigger, the housing ombudsman has tightened the powers they have to deal with ineffective practice and the social housing white paper sets out tougher controls in relation to ASB.
In addition, with the new tenant satisfactions measures to include ASB, including a measure around the number of cases open, it is key that we reflect on how well we are managing ASB reports, ensuring as far as we are able that matters are dealt with swiftly, decisively and effectively.
A key ingredient to achieving this?
Ensuring we have an effective case review process.
If embedded into ASB services, a case review process will ensure cases are resolved quickly and effectively, reducing the harm to victims and communities.
It also provides officers with the support and guidance required to ensure they are able to fulfill the demands of being an ASB officer to the best of their abilities.
During this free webinar, I explored the principles that underpin an effective case review process.
– why it is so important that regular case reviews take place
– the common factors that can delay a case from progression and how the case review process can help “unstick” these
– a suggested agenda for case reviews
– creating the best action plans
